That's a above ground pool that has been sunk in the ground. They are not made to do that because the walls will rust out over time then the pool will collapse. It's especially dangerous when it's time to change the liner.

You don't know what you are talking about. I worked for a pool company in college - we installed these steel walls in the ground. Poured concrete behind the walls.
