I think you're missing her growth as a character, but to be fair, the show fast forwards a year between the penultimate episode and the finale. The finale was all about her realizing that Jim was being held back by staying in the office and that it was her turn to make the big gesture for him.

I guess you can see it like that. I think its her attempt to make him happy. So she'll go along with it. But she will be miserable and I believe they will fail as a result. He wants a whole other life. She loves her life, but she loves him so she is willing to give it all up. She is very brave for that, especially when she knows her and the kids don't fit in that world. That's just my opinion though..
