A lot of the nightlife has been moved away from downtown as the businesses that have been going in around Toomer's Corner have been becoming more family friendly.
Skybar, Bourbon (LSU typical spot on their weekend), 1716, Quixotes, Moe's BBQ, Little Italy's, The Hound, and Avondale all have bars open until 12am at least on GameDay weekends with majority open until 2am.
