They were without a QB at this time last year as well and it still worked out for them pretty well. They should be #1 until someone else earns it.

Its a lot better being a QB behind that # of talent. The depth they build every recruiting cycle is able to withstand most anything anybody has that plays them....

McElroy, McCarron, Coker - all first year starters, all won the NC. Sims was also a first year starter and made the playoffs. I think Bama will be ok with their QB.
