I don't think you know what queer means...unless you are referring to the current broken societal definition that requires slight brainwashing and a touch of ignorance to accept.

I've played since I was 10. It's stress relief for me.

When I was in school I could find a ton of deals to get on a course for a relatively low price. Now that doesn't seem to be the case.

I enjoy golf. But I am not the type of golfer that is trying to get his game down to the 70s. which would require me to go out every weekend.

I just want to have a few pars, birdie attempts, and to have a good time with friends(drink a few beers). I play pretty good if I hold off for a month or two. if I play more than once in a week, my game blows up. I don't get it either.

regarding new equipment: I mountain bike a lot too. I would rather pay $1500+ for a nice full suspension bike, than a new set of irons. the growing popularity of other sports like cycling, kayaking, and other fitness related sports is making the bigger impact on the sport.

the pie can only get so big. we need more days in the year.
