re: What will the Rant do if Travonte Valentine is an absolute bust?

if the guy couldn't play football we would not of stayed on him as long as we have. that being said, we need credible help in the middle of our DL; the DL that has been woefully weak due to Haley/Chavis huge recruiting failures. chances are Valentine is not a savior but a better run stopper than we have had in a few years and much needed depth up the middle. it has been painfully obvious that our DL got gassed late in games and let our strong opponents seal the deal and protect their leads.

this board tends to fall in love with players and coaches that have never played (coached) a play for LSU. our coaches are always stupid because they don't play the right guys. the freshman player right out of high school is better than the veteran, etc, etc.
