Under Armor is still not close to Nike in terms of golf market share.
Nike probably sees that Under Armor is going to focus just on clothes and understands they need to focus on just that to maintain their place, but Nike is still far, far ahead in that space.
They see this competitor focusing on apparel and decided they are spread too thin to hold them down too much longer.

Lol how? UA doesn't make equipment or balls and are not known to the black community as the brand who made the 'Jerry Seinfeld 7's'.
It will never be a huge brand in anything other than baseball equipment, polos and khaki shorts. Nike and Jordan brand will forever dominate football, basketball and shoes for every sport.
