I will grant him this much and this much only. I know what it's like to move from a smaller town to the bright lights and big city and realize it isn't what I really wanted. I moved back home as soon as I could. Not saying Fayetville is home for Petrino, because he appears to be a nomad, but he prolly realized the ATL was more than he could take.
Now, all that being said, I can't wait for the first time for LSU to punk him and his Arky team next year in Fayetville (or Little Rock, wherever they decide to play.)

The losing and lack of a decent QB probably didn't help either. Let's face it, many of these coaches that have come back to college have found out that controlling college kids is easier than controlling full grown adults that make as much if not more money than they do. Also, by in large, the media in the larger markets are more harsh than college towns.
Also, if you aren't winning in the pros, you get much more criticism overall. In short, if Petrino had a 9-4 record and a decent QB right now, he would still be in Atlanta.
