I still don't like them, but I had to go 13 years ago when I worked in radio. I was surprised how good they were live. Yes I am embarrassed to admit this

1): Page and Plant tour mid 1990's. It was on a Monday night and didn't want to go but had a free ticket. It was just Page, Plant, a Bonzo style drummer, and bass player and that was it. They fricking killed...stripped down old Zeppelin and blues numbers....they were unbelievable and I can only imagine what Led Zeppelin must have been like.

2): Grateful Dead: Spring Tour 1995. I hadn't seen the Dead in about 3-4 years so when they did that southern swing I was pumped for it. It was horrible. Just awful. Garcia looked like a ghost. Music was shite totally uninspired. Crowds were awful. The whole thing just sucked and of course a few months later it was all over. I remember thinking they should retire.
