Will I have any issues integrating this into my windows/google world?

Probably not. Google makes macOS versions of their software, so you should be okay.

I'm planning on using the computer for some photography programs, very basic gaming (Civ/Skylines games and such), and basic word processing.

I don't think Civ's system requirements are too high. Baseline iMac comes with a 1.6Ghz and 8gb of ram.

I'd also like the computer to last a long time as I don't upgrade but for every 7-10 years (so top of the line now might last longer???).

I got my parents an iMac in 2008 when I worked for Apple in college. They use it daily for general tasks and it's still humming along.

There are probably more customizable options if you look into Windows or Linux-based machines, but if you want a "set it and forget it" solution, an iMac is good option.
