exactly Penrod. bama was 2nd in the entire country in opponents 1st downs per game. their defense constantly gave their offense the ball back
Bama was the 5th(49th)in the sec in plays ran.
Lsu was 3rd (115th)to last in plays ran and lsu's offense still out produced them. Just think if lsu didnt have the 23rd ranked defense.
LSU EVEN HAD A FAR BETTER 3RD DOWN CONVERSION % THAN BAMA.
