I have been to games at Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi State...

I will be making my first trip to Fayetteville in November. I was hoping to get some tips on places to eat or drink either pre or post game, from some people who have been.

What do you got?

I went when it was in little Rock. Hopefully Fayetteville is much better. I imagine it would be.

Don't get your hopes up. Makes it less painful.

Tailgating sucks. The majority of people tailgate north of DRRS in a big parking lot called the Pit/along Maple.

Dickson is cool though, there's a shite ton of great bars and restaurants.

I went to Fayetteville 2 years ago, and it was really cold and windy so everyone was inside for the most part. Like most said already, Dickson St. is great if you want to do a little partying. I have nothing to add about places to eat but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

I actually really liked Fayetteville besides the part where our football team got bitch slapped and it being so cold.

We need to return the favor this year

I went to Fayetteville a few years ago when Jarvis Landry had that crazy one-handed catch in the end zone and we won a close one. It's a really pretty area with lots of bars in walking distance from the stadium.

We stayed in Hot Springs and drove up (3 hrs) for the game. Fun drive through the mountains and kind of felt like playing Mario Kart for a bit. I would suggest staying in Fayetteville though.

Cold AF. Windy AF. Take a play from Les' playbook and keep the hot chocolate handy.

Places to eat:
Steaks - Doe's, Herman's
Sushi - Shogun, Kobe or Wasabi
Catfish - Catfish Hole
Seafood - don't bother
Cajun - Cafe Rue Orleans tries
Burgers - Hugo's, Feltner's
Italian - Joe's or go to Tontitown for Venetian Inn
Pizza - Damn Good Pies, Gusano's

Nightlife - Dickson Street is best for walk around bars

Tailgating - not a great area for this, it's spread out. Most Pig fans are not into inviting outsiders, especially LSU fans. We go to Foghorn's Sports Bar, park, eat and drink there and then catch the bus to the game (both ways).

Dress warm, usually cold during that time.

Lots of hotels in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rodgers and Bentonville which are all close.you can also stay in Eureka which is about an hour away. It's a kitschy Swiss styled town.

DWS is an OK stadium. Expect rude Pig fans, they are here and are not fond on LSU. Little man syndrome.

Come up, the area is beautiful, there are good places to go and except for the Hog fans, a great place to visit.

There is a restaurant on the way to Fayettville that serves Fried Chicken and Spaghetti and meatballs together that is real good.
