I agree. The only way you are worrying about votes is if you are not the winner of the SEC which you can help by winning

Ask 2004 auburn if thats true.
There is no guarantee that the sec champ gets into the playoff.
Im pretty sure the voters wouldn't leave the sec champ out but there is still a chance that a p5 program to go undefeated and not make the playoffs.
