not only that
but the Japanese and Nazis had very centralized organizations and localized propaganda campaigns
they didn't have the internet to spread their ideas to the entire world
there is no central area to carpet bomb to eradicate radical Islam unless we somehow carpet bomb the internet

"Little Boy" and "Fat Man" didn't care where they hide, what uniform they did or didn't wear or if they were mixed in with the public.
