My husband has gone twice mountain biking in Tahoe. I don't bike...I just hiked while he went biking.
The flume trail is a well known trail that is kinda known as a "must do" trail for mountain bikers/hikers.VERY SCENIC.
Currently you cannot take your bikes on the lift up Heavenly. At least you couldn't last summer. We heard they were talking of having that as an option in the future. I dropped him and his friend off at the top near Heavenly Ski Resort and they rode down to the bottom....where I just picked them up several hours later.
