I would assume anyone that is, is already spending a decent amount of money. What is the difference that we're talking about here

Yeah it doesn't really make a difference if you're already going. Expensive arse trip unless you're driving. Extra expensive if any one is going to the Cubs game then driving to Green Bay.

Everyone who already bought tickets for barely over face value, where did you get them?

Just an FYI, sitting in enemy territory is incredibly fun. It really adds to the away game experience. If you've never done it I'd suggest giving it a shot.

^ Agreed. My friend & I sat in a sea of Oregon fans when we beat them in Dallas a few years ago. What a satisfying feeling.

I'll probably buy some and then sell them for an outrageous amount.

I'm actually making this trip. Flying into Chicago. Going to the Cubbies. Then driving 3 hours to Green Bay. So I know exactly of what I say. Weirdo.

Sections 100-105 which are on sale tomorrow are right behind the Band and student section. We definitely need to fill up those seats with Tiger fans.

Is that all that's on sale tomorrow? Those are crappy seats.

Flights into Chicago are half the price flights into GB. Lodging is also cheaper in Chicago. If you rent a car that puts a dent on some of the savings but still come out ahead going into Chicago

My bad for being so abrasive in that last post. I was hungry which made me irritable LOL

ETA

anyone trying to get on? I'm stuck in a virtual waiting room

Well that was quick. How many seats you actually think they sold this morning? 100?

I have a coworker that worked his undergrad years in the UW ticket office. He asked what the quantity was, and said it was only about 600 to 700. Mostly the student section, but then also the odd 2 or 4 seats in the corner of a section that they didn't allocate during the initial request period.

I got two for 91 each. Went back to see of any more was available in case me and the wife wanted to take the kids and no more available. Might be a nice weekend away from the kids!

I didn't really specify.
Also those options aren't going to be available to every single tiger fan going to the game either. And your place and approach from my OP and who I was replying to is from left field in terms of context.
Furthermore, yes flying into Green Bay and lodging is more expensive, not double, but Chicago is 3 1/2 hours away. Lots of people will have to rent a car and drive in. Lots of people will not want to drive back that night after the game. Lots of people will need additional lodging in Green Bay. Then lots of people will need to get back to Chicago to flyout. Car rental will be in high demand so it's going to cost more. Lots of people are going to the Cubs game and extra things like that. Tickets are in high demand. They're more expensive. It adds up quick You are spending a lot either way. You= the random.
