So I guess Golden State shouldn't have signed KD. Maybe that's what actually has been keeping QPon out and not his knee. AD had a stress fracture his rookie season too, I really don't remember that, maybe they just called it a foot injury.

These fractures are incomplete fractures and not always debilitating; remember when Anthony Davis (former UK basketball star and rookie for the New Orleans Hornets) suffered from one in his foot earlier this year? He took proper precautions and rested his foot in the hopes that it would heal up with no further incident. He made the right decision.

If Jrue was a lumbering big I'd be worried, it's a death sentence for those guys. If he has any restrictions next year I'd be worried, but people also heal and return from these injuries too.

Apparently keeping Jrue is Solomon Hill's top priority. From a Black and Blue report interview that will come out next week:

quote:

the Los Angeles native discussed re-signing Jrue Holiday when he becomes an unrestricted free agent next July.

“He has a year left on his contract,” the 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward told Pelicans radio broadcaster Sean Kelley of the point guard. “My main thing is showing him why he should stay. I’ll do the same thing for everybody else. My main focus is retaining Jrue Holiday.”

...“I’m here to do whatever Coach G (Alvin Gentry) tells me to do, regardless of position, playing time, whatever I need to do to get on the floor. I just look forward to it, the fast, up-tempo pace that we want to play. Playing with guys like Jrue Holiday and AD, it’s exciting.”
