Not even close to the same thing. Holiday's stress fracture was clearly mismanaged for a year and then once they followed the proper protocol last year we didn't hear about it again. If he makes it through this season without any problems it shouldn't be anything to worry about. If you don't have the stress fracture to worry about, then his injury history is pretty clean unlike Gordon's.

Once you have a stress fractilure you have a 60% chance of having another. To add to the fact that he's a professional athlete where his body gets abused daily it is a serious issue.
