I love tons of stuff from that era...Sweet, Slade, Raspberries, Big Star, Badfinger.
Just great, pure, fun music.
Of these, I think Big Star may have some of the music that most people may find to be least palatable. 'September Gurls', 'In The Street' and 'Thirteen'are pop (power pop?) classics, whereas Third/Sister Lovers is a bit all over the place for some people.
