It's a metal pan for grilling oysters. Wondering other uses

I just use an old cupcake pan and call it a day.

Way cheaper and obviously you can use it to make cupcakes

Never seen the device you're talking about, please share if you don't mind.

IMO, there's no replacement for fresh shucked oysters but I've found myself reusing the deep side of oysters I've shucked previously. As mentioned before, muffin tins can work in a pinch but you need to make sure the flame up can reach the oyster/ butter if you want it to be close to how restaurants do it.
