Exactly. The Rooney Rule is a pile of pandering shite that does nothing.
I just get frustrated when people bring up white CBs or RBs as if it some kind of counterpoint. Judging the best man for an individual position on the field is significantly easier to quantify than selecting a DL coach. The hiring of coaches is much more subjective, so to apply the logic you would to a CB is ridiculous. I wish people wouldn't fall to that level because it is an easily defeated point.

I don't think it is when a rule exists forcing you to interview a certain amount of minority candidates. If they're the most qualified, why do we need a rule forcing them to be considered?
