I am taking these four over Nolan Ryan every time. Pedro's 98-99 seasons were absolutely insane when you consider the era. He's my choice if we are taking these guys in their prime

yes and I want to add that he was must-see TV. I was so excited to watch him pitch in the WS and playoffs.
He was like watching Barry Bonds. I had to watch.
no one else close, and I was a Carlton fan after being pissed that the Phils traded Rick Wise for him. Rick Wise had just pitched a no hitter.
I enjoyed watching Carlton pitch.
I loved watching Pedro.
