From a capacity stand point I really don't see what an extra lane will do for them. Unless there is fog or an accident, I've never personally been in any traffic on that bridge. But I've never had to commute it daily, so my opinion may not be worth much. Now if they wanted to add shoulders, I think that would be a much better alternative.
