I think questioning their pitching is acceptable right now. Darvish is key. Hammels is great (that other moron, geesh ) but you need Darvish or no chance IMO


and Im a Mets fans, no Rangers but I like that both teams are AL now, I can follow them as well and not feel like Im abandoning the Mets

It will be interesting to see what the Rangers do as presumable buyers before the trade deadline. Another arm or two in the bullpen could make them the favorites in the AL assuming Darvish can continue to progress without any more setbacks.

I'm also interested to see what Bannister does with the lineup. I think at this point he may need to look at using Profar more at first with Moreland and Prince still not up to form. The only downside is that both of these guys need ABs to break out of their funks. With Houston surging Texas may not have enough ABs to give those three and Profar seems to have the hot hand.

If you love good pitching matchups, Tuesday's game will NOT be among them. Washed-out Lohse vs. washed-out Lincecum.
