After a lifetime of sweating in this heat, suffering the wrath of shitty politicians and a half-assed police force, ducking over my shoulder keeping an eye out on dindus, terrible housing market and bottom-of-the-barrel public education, I'm out of NOLA.
I found out yesterday I have a job ready for me in Virginia. The wife and I are packing our shite and leaving here in less than a month.
I know, CSB, but I'm jazzed.

Virginia is super nice. Trout fishing, the bay, close to awesome sports. I just hate the assholes from the NE are screwing it up. With that said, it is a major upgrade over LA.
