The US out spends other countries in education. We average $10k a kid, South Korea $5k. Public Schools trumpeted a study years ago showing that students attending public and private school from the same socio-economic background fared the same. The problem was the private school spent thousands less.
You could have Isaac Newton teaching math and physics at any inner city school and the students still wouldn't be competitve. Money isn't the problem but a deviant culture that see schools as a day care center.
