Schools need to be funded better. However, no one is willing to pay for it.
The most extreme way we'd be able to afford to fix a lot of these schools is to get rid of private schools and force well off people to put money into public schools.
That's not happening so if people are serious about fixing schools, don't vote down taxes to better fund them.

Inner city schools are funded better than any other schools in the city in BR. They perform the worst. Why?

Teachers are much lower paid in private schools. Yet perform much better. Why? Why in the world would you want to punish children and parents in private school, when it's been proven that throwing more money at the problem of education does not work?

Folks, throwing money at a problem does not fix it. Especially involving the government. Never has, never will. But I know it seems like a simple answer and makes everyone feel good.

Even if they wanted to, would it be enough for the worst schools? From what I read (WARNING: read it somewhere on the internet), one source said roughly half of a particular public school's funding come from local tax dollars. In poor areas, I imagine that really fricks things up.
If any of that is not true, please tell me.

They already do via taxes
