Education has been moving towards a means to an economic end. Standardized testing and nationalized standards are destroying our ability to teach and assess student creativity.
It pushes our youth to believe in binaries, black and white answers to black and white questions. You are either wrong or you are right. If you are wrong, there will be immediate and dire consequences.
