so why not name the white victims in this?

seriously

that is my main criticism, should the people that NEED to hear the message not know the names of the white victims as well?

Who gives a shite? Their whole message was about looking inwards, which is what needs to happen. How dense are you people? The amount of blind racism on this board and the OT is also an epidemic in this country. When speeches like last night get 80% upvoted by a shitty OP F U post, that's a problem. They barely asked you or I to do anything but not be racist...*GASP* Their speech was about athletes helping by giving back and donating time/money to help the infrastructure of their communities.

While their message was a good one, they too should listen to it and educate themselves on the facts of these cases. They do themselves no favors lumping in Sterling, Brown, and others with people like Castille. They're clouding their message when they ask for all races to unite moments after speaking to one race in particular.

I see you are not one to think rationally

and that was great

my problem was with the specific names they called out and which names they left out

they chose a high profile medium to make their speech, it's ok for people to criticize it

So in a speech about unity why only bring up one race then? If really wanted unity instead of playing a pander card seems like you could atleast mention one of any other situation instead of multiples of one race getting attacked by the big bullys.

If you are a minority you have never been safer in this country then you are these days..and that includes sexual preference minoritys as well. But if you were to bullieve the narrative whites are out looking to kill more than ever.
