Most of what you listed has nothing to do with the education institutions, but rather the social issues that hold people back.

That's kind of the point.....Don't blame the schools when the parents aren't giving the necessary support from the start.

I am personally not blaming the schools. There are a multitude of issues that all needs to get addressed.

This is the point. If you want to improve your childs school as a parent, get involved with the PTA, be realistic and make positive incremental changes. Work toward these changes.

Get involved as a front door volunteer, crossing guard.......anything.

You are also making an impression on the other children going to the school. An actual honest to God positive influence that costs you nothing except time
