You don't have to bathe the cat, topicals work better on skin that is not squeaky clean. Probably not worth the stress either. But if you are bombing the hose cat needs to leave too and my guess is the vet would treat with Revolution and leave them in cage. unless the cat is infested they will likely not get in your car.
