Watched the Ultimate Cut last night. Much, much better film.
If you hated the premise and the third reel then don't bother, but the Ultimate Cut fleshes out so much of the plot and motivation, even better than the Director's Cut of Watchmen.
It appears that when they cut for time, they left Batman and Wonder Woman's scenes intact and jettisoned the Clark Kent scenes and most of the scenes that map out the conspiracy.
Awesome added scenes surrounding the initial attack in the desert (including the "Jimmy Olsen" scene which would've been a great fake-out if I hadn't have known about it prior... My wife's reaction was, "Wow, that wasn't Jimmy Olsen!")
Great scenes with Clark investigating Batman, and the woman paid to put the blame on Superman, what happened with the Bat-branded criminal between his arrest and when Clark gets the Polaroids...
The only added WTF scene is the Steppenwolf reveal with Lex. That really looks like an Easter Egg or end credits teaser that was forced into the cut. Other than that, everything works.

I watched it last night. Much better film. While it did not fix the misstep of Eisenberg being cast, it set up his maneuverings better and explained why Batman and Superman would have the opinions they did against each other. It was a much stronger film.
The Martha scene is still bad. They should have had him say save Martha, then kind fo dron of with a "Kent". Then have him actually say, my mother, Martha, save her from Lex. I think that would have humaized him to Batman and been more effective.
Also, at the beginning of the Superman/Batman battle, Superman tosses Batman back. He should have just gone up to him and explained everything. Let Batman throw sonic booms and crap at him. Just get in his face and talk. Of course then you do not have the epic battle. Still did not liek the alien bug things (not a comic book reader), or the dream sequences with the Flash.
And I still do not understand why Cavill plays Superman so smug. Having watched the Man from U.N.C.L.E. , he has the charisma to play Superman more compassionately and witty. He is just a smug, dour bastard.
