get a 9mm in each. both are fine guns
if i were buying two guns to stay in my house, I'd go with the full size M&P9 and an HK VP9

Agreed, only I'd get a glock 17 and 19 so I could swap mags.
Sell the 15 round mags and run 17s with +2s and a few 33s for comic relief.
