Well that's a relief-- that was probably Tulane's only chance to get Cannizaro----for the foreseeable future. Jewett is only 50 --
He was a good hire --be he's not as good as Checkette--I hope Andy stays planted at LSU till PM retires--- that would be a long shot.

it would definitely be a longshot. More likely that he gets a job elsewhere in the next couple of offseasons. If he's successful there, He's got a great shot at replacing Mainieri when his time is done
