How safe would you feel discharging your weapon while on your knees leaning forward directly over a 12" thick soft target with a concrete back stop? Assume the distance between your face and the backstop is 36" or less and the muzzle of your firearm is about half that distance or 18" from the concrete?
I knew what you were getting at but this still reads sketchy!
I shoot a 9mm hollow point at my hogs. I try to shoot at an angle so hopefully if it did ricochet, it wouldn't come back at me. Dad just shoots them with a .22 by just sticking it in the trap and putting it against their ear.
