I love when XI guys walk out there and play like they genuinely believe they're better than the XI standing across from them. I love watching a team play with no fear. I love watching a team that doesn't accept defeat. I love watching a team respond to being down 4-0 by fighting until the final whistle, even clawing a couple goals back. I love watching a group of fans singing their hearts out even when they're coming out on the wrong side of a lopsided scoreline. I love it when the word "quit" just isn't a team/fanbase's vocabulary. I love it when XI guys are more concerned with how they play together than how they play individually.

Iceland, thanks for reminding me why I love the beautiful game so much

They were so fun to root for at the tournament. I wish we had a tactical plan and identity like Iceland clearly has one.

I already bought an Iceland shirt on Amazon. It'll be a while before it can be filled.
