Lots of kids and pets getting too hot in cars these days. Car makers should install a temperature sensor that sends your phone a text or alert if the temp gets too high for your pet or children to be comfortable. It could give you the option to remotely crack the windows. Get Junior or Buster some fresh air while you finish shopping. This would help keep kids and pets safe, while providing peace of mind to busy adults.

Or you could just teach your kid and dog how to crack the damn window themselves. My god you "busy adults" can be so lazy sometimes.

My 3 year old practically drives my car anyway when I'm responding to my text messages.
