I am trying to help someone in a foreign country locate some US Army soldiers who helped them and showed them great kindness 30 years ago (in a foreign country.) I have the names, post, and years in question. What is the best way to track these guys down and put them in touch with this person? TIA

Considering your radical leftist post history, you really intend to have them charged with war crimes

I hope that's not a euphemism...

You might try the national archives, but it would be a crapshoot LINK

Here's a commercial site that has some information. LINK

Write a story and post it on your FB - chances are, your friends will share it and it might gain traction.

We've been able to track down our old maids from Sri Lanka and the Philippines from 20+ years ago.
