It was pretty good but I would have liked more of traditional documentary on the band. Bruce owns an aviation consulting company now and makes a lot of money from that. He flies everything from Boeing 747s to WWI era biplanes. He knows a lot about planes and aviation in general.

Bruce is quite the renaissance man.

How he finds time for that stuff is beyond me.

Outside his career in music, Dickinson is well known for his wide variety of other pursuits. Most notably, he undertook a career as a commercial pilot for Astraeus Airlines, which led to a number of media-reported ventures such as captaining Iron Maiden's converted charter aeroplane, Ed Force One, during their world tours. Following Astraeus' closure, he created his own aircraft maintenance and pilot training company in 2012, Cardiff Aviation. Dickinson presented his own radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music from 2002–2010, and has also hosted television documentaries, authored novels and film scripts, created a successful beer with Robinsons Brewery and competed at fencing internationally.

I think I heard him say that flying was in the family, so he had been around it all his life.
Bruce is not the only talented one in the family. His cousin Rob Dickinson, who is also a musician, is now better known as the founder of Singer Vehicle Design. They take old air-cooled Porsche 911s and rebuild them from the ground up into these super expensive masterpieces. When I win the lotto I'll be putting my order in.

Funny a few years ago I was watching a History Channel (pre reality HC) show about Sherman tanks and they are showing a Sherman driving around. Boom the hatch opens and Bruce pops out. It was his Sherman and then he went on to talk about Sherman tanks. They guy is basically living the life.
