I think Tesla is a great company who has shown growth in the past and , I'm sure, will continue to show growth in the future. However, their "glass ceiling" right now is charging time. Charge a battery using a 110V power outlet in 5 mins, and now we are on the same plane as filling up at the gas pump , until then, Telsa will be a niche car.

fully agree there, and im sure as with all tech it will improve over time. These haven't even been out that long. The supercharging stations charge in like 30 minutes I believe. Ive also read about battery swaps being possible in less time than a gas station fill up.
Either way its pretty dense to not see that electric cars work, have zero emissions, and offer an environmentally friendly solution if if if you use solar to generate the electricity for your car which the supercharging stations aim to do and one can do with solar panels at home.
Its an interesting story, and the next 5 years will probably reveal alot more into whether this is all a gimmick or a viable solution to weening off oil
