Yeah with good coaching and a consistent philosophy throughout the ranks, I think we could achieve that in a generation. The technical ability and sheer volume of special players would take longer maybe, but we could at least instill the philosophy and be much harder to play against.

The only way to close the talent gap quickly is through tactics and hustle. A Conte/Bielsa hardass would work miracles with the current usmnt roster.
And big thanks to spain for further screwing chelsea's summer. Fabregas is further exposed as a weakness and Conte is still in france.
