I recall that interview...Daltrey is friends with Plant and frankly he confirmed that Plant doesn't think he could deliver night after night on a massive reunion Zepplin tour. Plant doens't think he has what it takes anymore to deliver the goods and wouldn't be living up to expectations.

Led Zepplin was before my time, but did see the Page & Plant reunion tour in the 90's and it was amazing.

Townshend said in his book that Daltrey struggles with the old Who material, since Daltrey's voice has matured, and the old stuff was written for a young man's voice.
