Um, it's based on a novel by Philip K Dick, one of the most respected science fiction authors (ie - Blade Runner is based on his Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) so it's sci-fi by definition.

And to a previous comment about going somewhere not being the point - that's largely true. Like a lot of stuff I read when I was young I wasn't crazy about it when i read it the first time but appreciate it much more now. I think it's a solid if not great series so far.

Trivia - the actor playing the head U.S. nazi was the lead in Dark City.

I want the show to be just about an alternative reality but still be realistic. Like a what if senario. But I guess it would explain the tapes.
