Here's an unpopular but true statement -- there's absolutely no such thing as a "classy" sports franchise. It's a meaningless, dumb narrative that narrow-minded sports fans buy into. Sports franchises are businesses whose sole intent is to win and make money by any means possible. It's like saying Bank of America, Merrill Lynch or Hewlett-Packard is classy.
Ben Roethlisberger raped two girls and the "classy" Rooney family didn't bat an eye in keeping him on the Steelers.
Penn State was a "classy" program and fan base.
