The further along I get, the more often I repeat encounters.
Edt: Some of the Checkpoints are a little BS. I turn the game off sometimes because replaying some parts feels like I shouldnt have to. The checkpoint should start and stop when enemies spawn in.

I haven't had that problem but the first level of hell has been rough.
