Yea it's not for everyone I suppose but I found the people to be very friendly and the atmosphere to be really relaxed. Best steak I've ever eaten was in Santa Fe. You have all the best outdoor activities at your doorstep, good public transport, great climate, tons of culture, great food and drink and even casinos nearby. If you're looking for a hustle and bustle city life it probably isn't the place for you.
