Different field setups in what I love about baseball.

No I love that too...
But this is college baseball.
It's fair, when teams are well aware of their CWS destination and can build for it...
To have it change, year after year...
One year a great homerun team gets an advantage, next year it's a great pitching team...unbeknowest to the coach who recruit great hitters...because by year 3, he's now playing in a huge park...
You don't give coaches a chance to build and plan and you reward teams that just happen to have an advantage that year for certain ballparks by rotating.
It needs to be uniform to be fair.
Like the OP said...like Basketball and Football.

Well, I believe it's fairly obvious it needs to remain at one place to produce consistency in fairness, coaches know where they are going so everyone is on a level playing field to prepare their squads for the CWS and stats will remain equal...
It actually makes college baseball fair like college basketball and college football...
The best are all playing each other on a predetermined field that everyone has known about for years.
There's no excuse and no surprises...
Switching year after year would bring unfair surprises and unfair disadvantages to some great ballclubs.
and history will make sense in terms of wins...none of this complaining, you got lucky or MNC because your team got to play in a short right field and that was your specialty.

Imagine LSU is in the old Rosenblatt bombing away...and then next year they are in Ameritrade and don't win shite...they hit two singles...in the title game...
And then next year they go the desert and Arizona wins it because it's homefield.
And then they go back to Rosenblatt and LSU loses because they changed their style for Ameritrade...and gets bombed out of the park...
And then they go to big cities but small ballparks...etc.
There's no infrastructure to rotate this on a realistic, fair and reasonable level.
parks are all different across the nation and most can't host a regional let alone a CWS.
My point was to address how this was impossible, unfair, totally unrealistic and how the NCAA would never go for it.
