There's a secret cocktail bar in the basement of the Reiger hotel called Manifesto. Cocktails are great and the whole place is let by candles and cell phones out are highly discouraged. You have to text to get a reservation time (gives the vibe of an old hidden speakeasy)

Call or text message 816.536.1325 to reserve a table for 4 or more. We also reserve a limited number of seats at the bar for parties of 2. Once full, we run a wait list on a first come, first served basis and by taking a cell phone number and calling when your table is ready.
