Meanwhile, the MLS' championship game back in December drew an overnight rating of 0.43.
And the highest ever for a Premier League game was a 1.57 rating.
And soccer fans tell me that soccer will soon pass the NBA and they have already passed MLB...

I know a lot of soccer fans. I don't know anyone that says it will pass MLB and NBA "soon", but I do think it's close to passing the NHL on the national level. However, the MLS Cup and EPL games are on at terrible times. MLS cup is often on at the same time as cfb conference championships. The biggest EPL matches late in the season are often on Monday afternoons or Sunday mornings.
