I think the person from the 76ers commenting confused mass with muscle. Or said muscle since, if he kept his lean stature, it looked like 20 lbs of muscle in a nonchalant kind of way.
I have no doubt that with a more relaxed supplement protocol for the NBA vs. NCAA he could probably put it on quick with a nutritionist and a personal S&C coach.

If we're talking about 20 lbs of mass then I agree that it is absolutely possible. It mostly depends on how much of a caloric intake increase was made to facilitate that sort of weight gain.
